How to Change the AirPod Name
Follow these instructions to learn how to change the name of your AirPod.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down until you see the Bluetooth option. Click on it.
- After you’ve opened this tab, you will see a list all devices that are connected to your iPhone.
- Browse for the AirPods, and click the “i” option next to them.
- You must ensure that Bluetooth is on and the AirPods connected.
- Users can now tap on “Name” to open the list.
- This will display the current name of the AirPods. You can click in the text box to delete the current name and then click the X button.
- After the current name has been deleted, users will be able to choose a name they like and then press the “Done” button at the bottom.
- This will change your AirPod’s name. You won’t need to go through the Bluetooth menu to find your Airpods.
